  • 2011 Grand Cherokee Hemi 4x4 - 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee

We previously bought a GMC Terrain but it was not as good overall as this Grand Cherokee with the Hemi, and Im not talking just pure power. The Terrains fuel was OK but dropped to 24mpg highway when fully loaded for trips. The Grand Cherokee, 4x4 with Hemi, is giving us 21mpg. Ill take Hemi and 7000 pound towing (twice the Terrain) for not much more money thank you very much. The interior is another league compared to others. Its roomy, comfortable and the ride is unbelievable - this is a Jeep? Very comfortable for us in all seasons in the midwest. At 3000 miles we changed the oil to Mobil-1 and are easily towing our camper ~3000 pounds that the Terrain couldnt. Grand Cherokee A+!

  • This Is Jeeps Finest Hour! - 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee

I have owned this Overland V8 Hemi for nearly 2 months now, and I am still just as impressed as the day I bought it. This is a quiet, strong, well-behaved, high-quality vehicle that is loaded with amenities like heated and cooled seats, power liftgate, adaptive cruise control, blind spot warning, and much more. The interior is very nice, and this vehicle can hold its own against any of the higher-priced luxury brand SUVs from Germany and Japan. I have owned a number of Grand Cherokees in the past, but this one is clearly a cut above past models... perhaps they should have called it the Grand Slam, because thats what they have hit! This is one beautiful vechicle that I am proud to own.

  • Love My Limited - 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee

I bought my 2011 Grand Cherokee Limited a few weeks ago. The dealer experience was great! They did not have the color i wanted but had it transferred from another dealer that day. I have to say i had never thought of a Jeep before but when i saw the new design and then test drove it. I was sold! It is much bigger than previous models, but i love the ride, the handling and the look of the overall cabin. I have always driven luxury cars and have to say that it compares in quality and comfort to those of BMW, Lexus and Audis.

  • From a Range Rover to a Jepp - 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee
    By -

I have driven everything from Suburbans to Corvettes. My last vehicle was a Land Rover, Range Rover. Once I drove this Jeep, there was no going back. I went to the dealership to purchase a new Challenger, but made the "mistake" of driving the Jeep. The ride is more pleasant than the Rover, comfort level of interior is higher, ease of use rates better and overall satisfaction with the Jeep is much better than the Rover not to mention how much better the gas mileage is!

  • Got me home thru a blizzard - 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee

I recently flew to Boston from Philly on a business trip and was snowed in under 24+ inches of snow. My plane was cancelled and then my backup Amtrak train was cancelled as well. It was my birthday and I was hell bent on getting home. I rented a new JGC from a car rental agency and drove home in just over 6 hours. The Jeep performed flawlessly - I was driving 50-60 mph on highways covered in 6+ inches of snow and occasional 2 foot snow drifts on exit ramps and side roads. This thing drives like a tank in the snow. I like it so much I bought one two days later. I love the ride, the interior fit and finish, and the new body style.

  • I love my first jeep - 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee

This suv is great, its tough but gentle, quite, and elegant, its the sharpest vehicle out there for the money. At 15000 thousand miles, only one problem with it, a simple wheel alignment when first purchased. The v6 is a solid power plant, after 7000 thousand miles Ive seen the gas mileage at 25 highway and 16 to 18 city, not bad for a vehicle with a 4 wheel drive system and 5 thousand pounds of steel. Sure the engine is not the fastest, but its moves the Jeep with respect, I could live with that at the pump. Cant wait for snow again...

Coming from a 2000 Wrangler, I wanted something that didnt shake going over 70 mph, could handle some rough terrain, big enough for travel, and get me to work every day. I was looking at the Edge, MDX, Outback, Venza, Sorento, Explorer and Murano. Went into the Jeep dealership to value my trade and came out purchasing the 2011 Grand Cherokee Laredo with the 25X package. Hands down, the best bang for your buck. I purchased the V6 which was more than adequate, the V8 will have you flying. Amazed by the interior, which is literally like no other Jeep product I have stepped into. Exterior speaks for itself. Detroit has stepped up its game and I am along for the ride.

  • Great Vehicle - 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee

I researched vehicles for about a year. I was really excited about the new Ford Explorer, as we are a Ford family, but we needed a new vehicle sooner than "Winter 2011" as the Ford site shows. I have always loved the Jeep Cherokees looks, but never considered purchasing based on the sparse utilitarian interior and rough ride. The new design puts all of that behind it. Beautiful interior, stylish exterior, smooth (Mercedes ML) ride, and respectable price ($36,675 for the Laredo X 4x2), make for a great formula. I do believe that the days of Japanese and European vehicles being superior to American products are over. Nice going, Jeep.

I replaced a 2001 Nissan Pathfinder that had never given me any trouble so going back to a vehicle with a domestic badge was a tough decision. However, I must say that my 2011 GC limited 4x4 (v6 motor) is smoother, quieter and more responsive than my Pathfinder ever was. Exterior and Interior fit and finish is excellent. The GC handles very much like a sports sedan with great stability in corners compared to the truck like SUVs of old. I have taken several long trips in the GC since my purchase logging 4000 miles and the GC has been great. The V6 has plenty of power to cruise the interstate with little to no engine noise. Im very happy with GC.
